Ring Rolling Manager – Rajkot (Gujarat)

Location: Rajkot (Gujarat)

Education: Degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical, Production or any other suitable stream.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production & Operations: Manage day-to-day operations of ring rolling, open-die/closed-die forging and associated heat-treatment processes.

2. Ring Rolling Process: Lead operations involving ring rolling mills, preform forging, reheating, piercing, rolling and sizing/calibration.

3. Forging Process: Control forging processes including billet preparation, heating, upsetting, piercing, forging and finishing.

4. Quality & Process Improvement: Work closely with Quality and Metallurgy teams to ensure compliance with customer specifications and applicable standards.

5. Maintenance & Equipment: Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure maximum availability of forging presses, ring rolling machines, furnaces, manipulators, cranes, and auxiliary equipment.

6. Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to EHS and shop-floor safety procedures.

7. People Management: Lead and develop production engineers, supervisors, operators, and technicians.

8. Cost & Productivity: Monitor and control manufacturing costs, including:

9. Planning & Coordination: Coordinate with PPC, Purchase, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Dispatch teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Drive initiatives to improve OEE, throughput, yield and overall equipment productivity.

Experience: 10 to 20 years.

Any Special Knowledge / Skills / Experience required: Should be able to manufacture 3 mtr ring.
